About
Birth Freedom was founded in October 2021 in response to an urgent call by concerned mum’s to be who are being refused systemic care based on their personal medical choices, and providers who are looking for an alternative way to provide support, whilst upholding their own bodily autonomy and right to work.
How does Birth Freedom work?
Birth Freedom works as a matching service linking mums-to-be with providers such as birth keepers, doulas, hypnobirthers, and hypnofertilitists etc.
Many of our providers have exceptional and diverse skills enabling them to tailor their services to suit your individual needs. The most important attribute we require of our providers is compassion. This means they value your right to determine your own pathway throughout your pregnancy & birth.
What else?
We aim to provide our members with resources and information to educate and empower them to make informed decisions. We also aim to find real and practical solutions for pregnant women in financial difficulty that can’t afford independent providers, and solutions for how our midwives can eventually continue their passion in a legal and safe way.
